Met de Vaporstar tover je je glazen bong in een handomdraai om in een hoogwaardige vaporizer. De Vaporstar werkt zeer eenvoudig. Door te inhaleren wordt de vlam van een butaangas aansteker de Vaporstar in getrokken, dat een kleine metalen ster in de extractiekamer verhit. Vanuit de ster omgeven en doordringen zestien punten het kruid van hitte, waardoor deze zo heet wordt dat het damp begint af te geven die dan in de glazen pijp zichtbaar wordt.

"I own one of these as do a few others here and it rocks, it's now my favorite/only way I smoke.
A few lessons I've learned over the last month of use.
In order to keep the charring to a little as possible/none pull hard on your hits(slow hits get way hotter). You will see the vapour staring to build - once semi-thick - let off the flame and keep pulling to cool it on down and/for the next hit. One pull/draw without a flame helps cool it down alot also.
GET A GRINDER can't state that enough for Vapeing.
Get a spray bottle and mist your herbs and let set for 5 minutes before vapeing. Your Ground up herbs
The more you stir a bowl the better. But the Vaporstar will give 3 good hits between stirring. I can get 10+ hits from a medium bowl. I NEVER load large bowl because of the charring possibility increasing.
Overloading a bowl is the single worst thing you can do in regards to burning it. Small bowlfuls are almost impossible to burn and HUGE Bowlfuls almost always do.
The Vaporstar Rocks Simple as that. I have 2 of them and may get another.
Yes it doubles your herb output, so really it pays for its self.
The bong is open-ended on the bottom and easy to clean and make like new. Alcohol works best, then rinse with soap water like softsoap.
When done right the smell reduction from smoking in regards to clothing, the air and just reeking is reduced by 98 percent. I dare anyone to walking five minutes after I vape and know anyone had been smoking anything.

"Regarding the review posted below, I think "vaporstar reviewer" just needs a little more practice. As far as the wooden bowl is concerned, the only coating is on the outside of the bowl and just over the lip of the bowl. The varnish is also used on children's toys and is non toxic. As far as the colouration of the metal is concerned, steel when heated changes colour. For example knights armour is blue due to the heat. All Vaporstars are exposed to temperatures much higher than any butane lighter before dispatch. The wood is American black walnut (not cheap) and is precision cut. The steel is also precision cut and of high quality. Wood is useful because it prevents users from burning their fingers, and people have been using wood for pipes for centuries. It sounds like "vaporstar reviewer" hasn't read the instructions (very important!) and has been sucking a flame set at the wrong size. "

"It takes very precise timing and practice to achieve proper hits, same amount of work involved to vape manually with a standard pipe. Secondly, the wooden bowl on the vaporstar is a joke, the taste of the wood is very nasty [and no this wasn't from scorching], just seems that every hit has a taste of wood or whatever they have coated it with...Thirdly, I noticed on closer inspection that there was an oil based residue that's started to burn/heat up of some kind on the metal piece of the vapor-star, as there was multi-colored tint across the metal, which indicates there is some sort of deposit that is reacting to the temperature. Overall, the vaporstar is a great idea, and I respect the manufacturers for taking the initiative to produce such a product, BUT unfortunately the pieces used to make it were very cheap, and the overall quality of the product is very low. I'm hoping the model gets remade, possibly with parts of higher quality and that are more suited to the function of the vaporizer. Having wood at any point of the equation is just ridiculous. All the parts should be made of non toxic heat proof parts. Sitting here now, my lungs are feeling pretty rough from a fairly stressful session with the vaporstar. I've probably inhaled some fairly toxic chemicals from possibly the metal, and most definitely the varnish type coating on the wooden bowl, which is very aggravating and a big let down, i quit smoking a few weeks back [health reasons] and am used to using a volcano in this time... and thus my lungs have become hypersensitive to what I am inhaling. When I inhale from the volcano I get pure flavour and a hit that tickles your lungs and I get superbly high for a few hours from it, when I hit the vaporstar I can taste all sorts of crap and I only get a pretty small hit [nothing close that would get me noticeably high] Then I gotta repeat the process a few more times before i start to feel it. Then I'm just left sitting there high tripping out about what these horrible tastes in my mouth are : / A vaporizer is meant for health purposes, and there is certainly nothing healthy about smoking random factory fumes from a product."

1. Be a vaporizer if you slowly suck on it and pull the lighter away when it's about to get a bit foggy.
2. Or be a bucket suck, a kaboom or what you want to call it if you want to go fast on it. :-) An experienced smoking friend of mine did it too hard and almost started puking. But was instantly stoned :D"
